The Philippines has such a great need with many under the poverty line and very humble lives lived by most. Knowing missionaries and different churches that do work within this land the need is so vast it would almost seem an endless effort to meet the need.

Orphanages, feeding programs, Church planting, Street preaching, this country is open to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. A Gospel that displays what it preaches is always a very powerful thing for it becomes a practical Gospel meeting needs through Christ’s healing Love.

Matthew 25:37-40

37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?  38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?  39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’  40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

So as a Church we felt compelled to help in some small way with a vision to increase our input and ability to help make a difference. Our vision for the Philippines is to see the Kingdom of God increased by the practical application of simply meeting the people’s needs.

The way we are administering this at present is to send Boxes of Clothes and goodies to different areas of need. The boxes are quite large and delivered door to door. Here is an example of how powerful a witness this is.

The very first box we sent arrived at Eternal Life Ministries Tacloban City Philippines. The poor and needy were invited to come and receive free clothes and items to meet various needs. The Gospel was not only preached but also displayed through an act of compassion with many receiving Christ that very day simply because someone cared enough to help.

You too can make a difference and help change someone’s life. It can be as simply as donating your old clothes so a family might be clothed.
